Baritone Sebastien Maury is a seasoned performer who has sung for both huge international audiences and at friends’ weddings and funerals.
He sang at the opening ceremony of the 2000 Sydney Olympics, at the 2003 Rugby World Cup, and on the soundtrack to the blockbuster animation Happy Feet. As a member of the Sydney Chamber Choir, he sang Dawn Mantras to the world from the sails of the Opera House at daybreak on the first day of the current millennium. He has also performed with the Bangkok Opera Company and been involved in many classical recordings, including singing Carl Orff’s Carmina Burana for ABC Classics.
